7.75” x 31.5” oil on a skateboard
i can’t recall just when i thought of this board graphic, must have been back in ‘08-‘09, but the idea just sat in my head for the longest n i dont even know what was stopping me from painting it. but one day, i finally picked up a brush n primed the board, next day i drew on it so clean n i was so proud. i told the owner of classic skate shop about my idea n he was souped on it n wanted to collab, and then.. i rarely painted the deck. everyone would ask about it n i guess i wanted it to be so true to my vision i only tackled it when i truly felt it was right. couldn’t rush it for anyone else. what tripped me out tho was that my dude at the shop wanted it for free n said i wouldn’t be makin a cut if they printed the deck n sold it at the shop.
sorry, but i put too much love into this for someone else to make bread off it. feel me?
*oh yeah, 2005 was the first time i rolled an L. dutch was stale n cracked n i still made it work
